About Shiv
Well I am Shiv Kumar. Born in Ranchi (currently Capital of Jharkhand), India on 9th September 1978. My family is natively from Uttar Pradesh. And is currently resding in a small town Anpara ( 200 kms south of Varanasi). I did my studies at various places: 10th Exam from St. Franci’s School, Anpara, 12th from Birla Higher Secondary School, Pilani, B. Tech from Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jhansi and M. Tech from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi finally ending up with B. Tech and M. Tech in Chemical Engineering. Thereafter, I joined Defence Research and Development Organization, India in Sep 2002 as Scientist. Currently, I am working at Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory, Cochin.
My hobbies and intests are web-surfing, exploring Linux and Symbian Games and Softwares. I also used to play Volleyball and Table Tennis.
About Preeti
Preeti is my wife and we got married on 12th May 2007. She is born in Allahabad, India on 19th March 1983. Her family resides in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. She has completed 10th and 12th from Crosthwaite College in Allahabad and thereafter did her Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Polytechnic College in Lucknow.After which she did her B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from BBS College of Engineering and Technology, Allahabad in 2006. Having worked for few months in iEnergizer she quit the job and to get married with me and moved to Cochin. Currently she is working as Software Engineer in ITflux
She is a good singer and have learnt some classical vocal music in her childhood. She loves to dance and go out to amausement parks.
